Administrative Assistant – Part Time

Chester

£8,921 – £9,391 per year

15 hours per week

We have an opportunity for an Administrative Assistant to join our team in Chester. The role sits with the overall Avenue Service Team providing support where required, main duties will include compliance administration, financial data input and general administrative duties.

The role is based primarily at our Avenue Services location with occasional working to take place at Blacon Adventure Playground as required.

The role of Administrative Assistant will include:

-Providing an effective and efficient administration service to internal and external customers, to ensure provision of services in line with customers needs, including answering enquiries and providing information by phone, letter or email to ensure queries are resolved
-Assisting operational staff and customers in resolving difficult problems
-Supporting the maintenance of effective filing systems, financial records, database records and processes that enable the accurate recording and timely provision of information.
-Providing quality statistical information on key performance indicators such as satisfaction levels and response times to assist managers in target setting, performance monitoring and implementing improvements as needed.
 

Skills and experiences:

-Able to demonstrate a level of numeracy and literacy to the equivalent of GCSE Grade C or above in English and Maths
-Some experience of working in an administrative role or similar
-Some experience of working to deadlines and prioritising work loads
-Good communication skills
-Recent experience in interpreting written instruction and maintaining written records
-Occasional travel may be requirement of the role, therefore a full valid driving licence is essential

The full time equivalent salary for this role is £22,304 based on 37.5 hours per week rising to £23,478 after 12 months service and subject to satisfactory performance
