Logistics Coordinator
We are seeking a detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to support daily plant operations by coordinating visitor access, shipments, and procurement support activities. In this role, you will help ensure smooth inbound and outbound logistics while maintaining safety, security, and operational efficiency across the facility.
This position works closely with operations, procurement, and logistics teams to support shipments, vendor coordination, and visitor management while contributing to a safe and organized work environment.
What You’ll Be Doing

-Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments for internal and external customers.
-Manage visitor and contractor access, ensuring required safety training and proper identification before facility entry.
-Create and issue ID badges for employees, visitors, and contractors.
-Monitor plant entry gates, security cameras, and site access points.
-Direct deliveries and coordinate incoming materials to the correct locations.
-Process raw material receipts in SAP and update tracking records in SharePoint.
-Support procurement activities including purchase order entry, requisitions, goods receipt processing, and vendor invoice coordination.
-Manage PPE distribution for visitors and contractors.
-Monitor plant scales and report operational issues when necessary.
-Coordinate waste removal services.
-Support and participate in the Armstrong Safety Program.
-Perform additional administrative and operational tasks as needed.

Qualifications

-High School Diploma required.
-2–5 years of experience in logistics, warehouse, shipping, or manufacturing environments.
-Basic computer proficiency including Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and email systems.
-Strong organizational and administrative skills.
-Ability to manage documentation, shipments, and coordination tasks accurately.

-Previous experience in manufacturing or plant environments.

Physical Requirements
This role includes light to moderate physical activity, including walking within the plant and warehouse areas and occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds.
