• at least a doctoral degree in engineering and technical sciences in the discipline of mechanical engineering or a doctor of technical sciences in the discipline of construction and operation of machines or mechanics.
• Documented scientific achievements in the field or scientific discipline to which the candidate’s main scientific achievements are to apply (does not apply to teaching positions):
• not applicable.
• Specification of the required teaching or professional experience of the candidate (not applicable to research positions):

– experience in conducting classes independently for a period of not less than five years;– experience in conducting classes at the university related to the design of machines and devices with particular emphasis on the 3D modeling technique, the use of numerical methods in the field of mechanical structures, stress and strain distribution;– recommended practical experience in the use of FEM analysis methods in the field of mechanical structures, stress and strain distribution, the use of the Ansys environment in the field of mechanics and of machine construction;– knowledge of the Polish language in speech and writing to the extent enabling them to conduct classes (the possibility of conducting classes in English is recommended). * Employment will take place under a fixed-term employment contract and on a full-time basis – 330 hours of the annual teaching load.

• The University of Kalisz is to be the candidate’s primary place of employment, within the meaning of the Act, after his or her employment.
• There is a possibility of conducting a job interview.

II Documents required : * Letter of application addressed to the Rector.

• Professional CV containing information on scientific and organisational achievements as well as the direction of further activities, list of publications and others.
• Personal questionnaire (the form can be downloaded from the School’s official website).
• Diploma duplicates certifying the given education.
• Employment certificates of completed periods of employment.
• Declaration of compliance with the requirements of Art. 113 of the Act of 20 July 2018 Law on Higher Education and Science (Journal of Laws of 2023, item 742, as amended).
• Declaration that the University of Kalisz will be the primary place of work in case of winning the competition (declaration form available for download from the University’s website).
• Agreement on personal data processing.

Deadline for submitting job application forms: 25.09.2024 till 12:00.IV The Information about the result of the recruiting competition along with the justification will be announced no later than 14 days from the date of submitting offers on the University’s website.The University does not provide housing, but provides accommodation in its own hotel base.The University reserves the right not to contest without giving any reason. The result of the recruiting competition does not amount to the employment of the candidate and constitutes a recommendation in this regard for the Rector.
