Law on Higher Education and Science (i.e. Journal of Laws of 2023, item 742, as amended). * Eligibility Requirements:

• medical diploma,
• the right to practice medicine,
• postdoctoral degree in the discipline of medical sciences,
• specialization in dermatology and venereology,
• the first author in at least 2 original publications, published in journals or publishing houses included in the lists of the competent Minister for Higher Education,
• author or co-author of scientific publications issued in the last two years preceding the application for employment in the position in question, for which at least 140 ministerial points were obtained in accordance with the year of issue,
• scientific achievements with a total IF of

50, * documented didactic and organizational activities,

• knowledge of English at a very good level,
• in the case of foreigners, knowledge of the Polish language in speech and writing is required

• Required documents:

• a written declaration of willingness to participate in the competition, addressed to the Rector,
• personal questionnaire for the person applying for employment,
• a certificate of no criminal record from the National Criminal Register, in accordance with Article 21(3) of the Act of 13 May 2016 on Counteracting Threats of Sexual Offences and Protection of Minors (i.e. Journal of Laws of 2024, item 560),
• copies of documents confirming education and professional qualifications, in particular: higher education diploma, the right to practice the profession of pharmacist, certificate of recognition of a foreign diploma as equivalent to a Polish diploma (if applicable),
• other documents confirming the qualifications held (list of publications with IF scores, ministerial scores, certificates, etc.

Specific Requirements

• Required declarations:

• declaration of consent to the processing of personal data,
• a statement stating that if the competition is won, the Medical University of Silesia in Katowice will be the primary place of work within the meaning of the Law on Higher Education and Science,
• Statement on:

• having full legal capacity,
• the full enjoyment of public rights,
• not being convicted by a final judgment for an intentional offence or an intentional fiscal offence,
• failure to impose a disciplinary penalty referred to in Article 276(1)(7) and (8) of the Law on Higher Education and Science,
• a statement on having only citizenship of the Republic of Poland and not residing in countries other than the Republic of Poland and countries of citizenship in the last 20 years, in accordance with Article 21(4) and (5) of the Act on Counteracting Threats of Sexual Offences and Protection of Minors (i.e. Journal of Laws of 2024, item 560).
