Job Title: Additional Learning Support Team LeaderSalary: Teaching Support Scale 5 – 6, Pts 20 – 25£25,710 – £27,429 per annum (Actual salary)Contract: NSG Business SupportHours: 37 hours per weekAnnual Leave: 30 days per annum, plus statutory Bank HolidaysPension: NEST Pension SchemeAbout the roleThe Additional Learning Support (ALS) Team Leader will lead a team of Learning Support Assistants, including day to day supervision, leading on providing specialist support to individuals and much more.Are you a specialist in SEND or High Needs? Are you able to operationally manage precise, well planned learning support by deploying a dedicated team of learning support assistants? If so, we invite an application from you to join our team of ALS Team Leaders at Middlesbrough College. High Needs provision at Middlesbrough College was recently judged to be Outstanding by Ofsted (February 2024) and this role is vital in ensuring that our progress continues and that all learners, regardless of their needs, thrive, progress and achieve their individual outcomes. In joining the ALS team at Middlesbrough College, you will play a vital role in our recently Ofsted inspected Outstanding High Needs provision. Staff joining the department will become part of an inclusive, welcoming, and supportive team with a diverse range of skills, backgrounds, and passions; all of which are aligned to supporting students to achieve their very best.About the College
