The Bridges is a residential substance misuse treatment centre in Hull supporting adults (18+) who are committed to abstinence from drugs and alcohol. Our 3-6 month structured programme is rooted in 12-Step principles and evidence-based approaches, helping residents build the skills and resilience for lasting recovery.

We’re looking for a passionate Recovery Practitioner (35 hours per week) to join our Treatment Team and play a key role in delivering high-quality, person-centred care.

As part of our Treatment Team, you will:

* Manage a caseload, including risk assessments and tailored recovery plans
* Deliver structured group programmes and 1:1 interventions
* Provide a range of psychosocial interventions to meet individual needs
* Support reintegration planning for life beyond residential treatment
* Carry out admissions in line with agreed protocols
* Accompany clients to appointments and activities as required
* Supervise and record self-administration of prescribed medication
* Conduct drug and alcohol testing as part of the therapeutic programme
* Maintain accurate, high-quality case records and data

What We’re Looking For

You understand that recovery goes beyond treatment, it’s about sustainable change.

* Skilled in delivering structured, integrated recovery support
* Proactive, solution-focused and a strong team player
* Committed to quality, continuous improvement and professional development
* Confident handling confidential information and maintaining boundaries
* Passionate about dignity, respect and promoting people’s rights

You’ll be part of a supportive, purpose-driven team working in a structured therapeutic residential environment where your work has visible, lasting impact. Every day brings the opportunity to help someone take meaningful steps toward sustained recovery, and to be part of a service that truly changes lives.

If you’re motivated by meaningful work and believe in the power of recovery, we’d love to hear from you.
