JustOT are looking to recruit a band 6 Acute Stroke Occupational Therapist for a locum position with our client in London.

The pay for this position is GBP22 – GBP26 per hour, and we are looking for someone who can start as soon as possible for an ongoing duration.

Successful candidates must hold a degree in occupational therapy and be HCPC registered.

Job Description:
At least 2 years’ Neurological OT experience (ideally Stroke). Conduct comprehensive assessments, intervention and discharge planning for patients with complex cognitive, physical, sensory, and perceptual difficulties following an Acute Stroke.
* The postholder will likely be set between working on the acute stroke ward, outlier wards as well as ED; therefore they need to be confident & competent to work alone.
* We work closely with Physiotherapist’s & Speech Language Therapists, therefore having someone whom understands the importance & value of working within a Multi-Disciplinary Team is crucial.
