JustOT are looking to recruit a band 6 Medical Occupational Therapist for a locum position with our client in Ipswich.

The pay for this position is GBP21 – GBP24 per hour, and we are looking for someone who can start as soon as possible for an ongoing duration.

Successful candidates must hold a degree in occupational therapy and be HCPC registered.

Job Description:
Role is based in the acute hospital, with the focus on therapeutic assessment and safe/appropriate discharge planning from the acute hospital setting to the community. Role will entail completing initial therapy assessments, functional assessments, onward referrals for care/therapy input at home and/or referral to community hospital beds as deemed appropriate.
Ensuring appropriate professions are involved. Escalating issues within MDT as appropriate.
Timely and efficient assessment and discharge planning, prioritisation of caseload and autonomous working.
