Reporting into Head of Reserving, the successful candidate will be a member of the AXA Partners central reserving and profitability team responsible for a wide range of actuarial work to support the business, the role holder is expected to:
- Actively participate to the reserving activities (actual and forecasts), while adhering to AXA Group’s reporting requirements.
- Support local and regional teams and top management on actuarial topics such as forecasting and budgeting, portfolio monitoring, and capital management.
- Contribute to AXA Partners portfolio monitoring for Assistance business lines to optimize profitability and meet assistance targets.
- To identify and analyse portfolio / segment trends within the Assistance business lines and to steer the Portfolio Management Process accordingly.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The role holder will concretely be in charge of:
- Contribute to the 1st opinion reserving process for IFRS reporting on the AXA Assistance scope.
- Support the quarterly reserve calculation process under locaI gaap, IFRS17 and Solvency II project for actuarial matters.
- Collaborate with key internal stakeholders (Finance, Risk Management, and Technical Excellence) to communicate and embed the results.
- Participate in presenting the results at the Reserving Forum and Reserving Committee.
- Use and maintain actuarial tools for reserving calculations.
- Contribute to portfolio profitability analysis, production and process animation.
- Adhere to the AXA Partners Reserving Policy and ensure processes and documents remain up to date.
- Support the AXA Partners Risk Management team in broader reserving and actuarial topics.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of portfolios for ad-hoc reserving and profitability reviews.
- Provide training on technical and communication standards for Finance, Risk, and Actuarial associates.
- Engage with external stakeholders (GIE, internal/external Audit, and Compliance) for quality assurance and adherence to AXA standards.
- Contribute to the monitoring and analysis of Assistance business lines portfolios to assess performance, risk, and compliance with established investment guidelines and strategies.
- Support the development and implementation of effective portfolio monitoring procedures and strategies to proactively identify and address issues.
- Generate and present regular reports and analysis on portfolio performance and recommend adjustments as needed.

- Minimum of +4 years of experience within a large and international organization, preferably in finance and insurance companies
- Experience in Solvency II and IFRS17 reporting;
- Experience in pricing would be a plus;
- Actuarial related qualification from a recognised actuarial professional bodies
- Experience in a multi-cultural environment would be a plus. Fluent English is required
- High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation
- Leadership and interpersonal skills able to communicate effectively with senior stakeholders
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build presentations easy-to-understand and convincing, in order to facilitate appropriate strategy decision-making across the business
- Must be a team player, able to work collaboratively with and through others
- Excellent analytical skill and actuarial academic background
- Proficiency in the use of Ms Word, Ms Excel, and PowerPoint for the creation of engaging analyses reports and presentations
- Proficiency in coding (R/VBA) would be a plus.
