Activity Model AnalystFulltime: 38 hours per weekNew role within the Supply Chain analytics team at Action!As the Activity Model Owner you will be part of the Supply Chain Support & Processes department and report directly to the Manager Supply Chain Analytics. SC Analytics is responsible for Business Analytics and Data Science within the expanding European supply chain network of Action.Your Daily ActionsIn this role you will be the owner of the Activity Model for Outbound Logistics. This Activity Model is a model that translates forecasts into workload and related efforts. It is a combination of activity steps, labor standards, and DC specific drivers, which enables us to set clear expectations on how much effort a given amount of workload would require. Therefore, the output will be key for keeping control of the daily operations in all of our warehouses, and improve our efficiency. Thereby, it will stimulate standardization and objectivity in looking at performance and will drive fact based performance meetings.Your daily tasks will include:
- The ownership, governance and quality assurance of the labor standards for our warehouse processes.
- The ownership of the calculation engine from a functional perspective.
- The ownership of the User Interface that offers the output of the Activity Model to the business users.
- Defining and maintaining the product roadmap in alignment with the process managers/experts and business stakeholders. You collaborate cross-functionally e.g with Technology, process managers/experts, the operation, and external consultants to deliver the items of the roadmap.
- Provide comprehensive training and support to the business users to enhance data-driven decision-making, ensuring all teams are well equipped. Stay updated on industry trends, tools and methodologies in the field of labor modeling and warehouse efficiency.
Meet Your TeamAs a Activity Model Analyst, you will have a totally new role within the Supply Chain Support & Processes department, directly reporting to the Manager of Supply Chain Analytics. You can structure ideas and requirements into concrete plans and models, and with your problem solving ability you can lead the way with an end-to-end mindset. You are a pragmatic thinker who works effectively with others to achieve common targets.Your communication skills are outstanding and you are socially skilled. You like to act as a spider in the web and collaborate effectively with others to achieve common goals. You are a strong person who is not deterred for a discussion, values different points of views and leverages them in a constructive way.You can transform complex data into actionable insights and are proficient in presenting it. Next to that, you are customer focused, result-oriented and pro-active.Furthermore you have:
- Bachelor or Master’s degree in Engineering, Business, or Operations
- 3+ years of work experience in a product management role or similar, preferably in operations or logistics-intensive environments
- Experience in model/product development and validation
- Strong analytical skill set
- Experience with change management
