We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated professional to join the Strategy and Development Team at ACRO Criminal Records Office (ACRO), a national policing unit based on the south coast, as a Development Officer (maternity cover).
In this role, you will work closely and collaboratively with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders to support the onboarding of new agencies to ACRO services.
You will also contribute to project work aimed at enhancing existing services and developing new offerings to meet organisational and stakeholder needs.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys relationship-building, project delivery, and helping to shape and improve services at a national level

Essential Qualifications
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
Educated to QCF Level 3 OR work experience deemed to have brought the role holder to a comparable level.
Desirable: Recognised Qualification in Project Management, e.g. PRINCE II
Essential Experience
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Previous research experience, covering a wide range of subjects.
Report writing experience.
Advanced use of MS office products.
Use and maintenance of a variety of complex record keeping systems.
Desirable: Familiarity with police organisations and structure or other public sector organisation.
Experience of tailoring PRINCE II to meet the needs of individual projects
