Acoustic Consultant

My client is a reputable acoustics consultancy based in Southampton, United Kingdom, specialising in providing a comprehensive range of noise and vibration services. These services encompass Noise Impact Assessments, Acoustic Advice, Architectural Designs, Planning, and Mapping and have been instrumental in a wide array of domestic projects in the United Kingdom, as well as international ventures in Saudi Arabia, Russia, Greece, and China.

Requirements:

* A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or an IOA Diploma in Acoustics and Noise Control.
* A minimum of two years’ experience in acoustic consultancy, exemplifying a successful track record of delivering noise projects to clients.
* Competence in various software packages, including ODEON, INSUL Soundplan, and CaDnaA.
* Possession of a valid driver’s licence.
* Proficiency in both building and environmental acoustics, supported by a strong technical background.

Responsibilities:

* Delivery of effective solutions and advice to clients.
* Full engagement in all project stages, maintaining professional and courteous interactions with all stakeholders.
* Supervision and motivation of junior consultants, providing guidance to ensure optimal client outcomes.
* Utilisation of project management expertise to ensure a seamless process throughout the deliverables’ life cycle.
