Acoustic Consultant

Are you seeking an exciting opportunity in the field of acoustics? My client is in need of an Acoustic Consultant to join their company. The role involves providing expert consulting services to ensure compliance with British Standards and building regulations. The Acoustic Consultant will work closely with design teams to ensure that acoustical design is both cost-effective and practical. The position offers a diverse portfolio of projects in hospitality, education, residential, and healthcare sectors, providing a variety of development opportunities.

Requirements:

* Ability to create high-quality technical reports that are understandable for all parties.
* Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Acoustics or a related field.
* Demonstrated expertise in building acoustics, especially in construction RIBA stages 1-3.
* Familiarity with new construction as well as existing residential and commercial structures.
* Minimum 3 years of experience in acoustics with MIOA status.
* Valid driver’s licence.

Duties/Responsibilities:

* Collaborating on-site with colleagues for surveys, assessments, and supervising junior staff when necessary.
* Efficient management and communication with key stakeholders.
* Thoroughly reviewing plans to ensure compliance with British acoustic regulations.
* Writing technical reports and providing expert advice to clients for necessary remedies.
