Acoustic Consultant

My client is a well-established acoustic consultancy specialising in sustainable and energy-efficient architectural designs. They oversee a wide range of projects encompassing educational, residential, commercial, and leisure sectors, varying in scale and investment. Their comprehensive range of services includes acoustic modelling, design, assessments, and testing.

Requirements:

* A BSc or an MSc in Acoustics or a related field
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Full membership with the IOA
* Minimum of 5 years’ experience working within the acoustic industry
* Proficiency with dispersion software (ODEON, INSUL, Soundplan, and CadnaA)

Responsibilities:

* Offer actionable remedial advice
* Undertake initial site appraisals and work with developers on fee proposals
* Undertake project management duties onsite while managing more junior consultants
* Write informative technical reports for clients
