Title: Acoustic Consultant
Location: Hertfordshire
Salary: GBP30-35k
We are looking for an Acoustic Consultant to join a well established environmental consultantcy specialising in acoustic regulations and compliance. This consultancy is recognised for providing bespoke solutions to a diverse range of projects across residential, commercial, and industrial sectors. The organisation is committed to delivering customized acoustic strategies that precisely address the unique requirements of each project.
The primary responsibilities associated with the Acoustic Consultant position include the adaptation of project plans and designs to ensure conformity with client specifications and statutory regulations. The successful candidate will conduct regular inspections of noise and vibration to ascertain compliance with British standards and building regulations throughout all stages of the project. Additionally, the role involves performing routine environmental noise surveys, executing necessary calculations, and offering clients expert guidance and remedial advice to mitigate technical issues that may impede project completion and adherence to timelines.

To be eligible for the Acoustic Consultant position, candidates are required to possess a Bachelor of Science degree in Acoustics or a related discipline, an IOA Diploma accreditation in AMIOA/MIOA, project management experience, and proficiency in environmental acoustics and noise surveys. Additionally, candidates must demonstrate the ability to manage technical issues during assessments. A full driver’s licence and close proximity to the Hertfordshire office are essential for this role
