Accounts Payable Team Leader
Worcester based with a balance of home and office working
£28,538 per year
35 hours per week
Temporary position for 12 months
We have an opportunity for an Accounts Payable Team Leader to join our Finance Shared Services team, based in Worcester. Duties will include leading a team of 7, ensuring that all invoices are processed in a timely manner and that customer service standards are consistently high.
The role of Accounts Payable Team Leader will include:
-Leading the Invoice Management team
-Supporting a team with accurate and timely processing of invoices, monitoring volumes, and achieving team targets
-Supporting reporting of daily figures, workflow management and weekly KPI reporting
-Showing initiative to process urgent requests and taking ownership of outstanding queries
-Playing a key role in supporting the Group to achieve its objectives and regulatory requirements
-Providing clear communication between teams and championing best practice
Skills and experiences:
-AAT part/fully qualified, equivalent level of qualification or qualified by experience.
-Experience of leading a team within a high volume transactional processing function or similar is desirable
-Good working knowledge of invoice processing and experience in supporting team members
-Excellent interpersonal, and communication skills allowing you to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders across all levels of the organisation
-The ability to work to tight deadlines and prioritise work load
