### Job Specification: Accounts Payable Administrator

Location: Blackburn, Electronic Company

Position: Accounts Payable Administrator

Overview:
We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Accounts Payable Administrator to join our clients Blackburn-based electronic company. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the AP ledger for three companies using our clients ERP system, JD Edwards. This role involves working closely with our southern-based offices and two small international businesses.

Key Responsibilities:
– Maintain the Accounts Payable ledger for three companies.
– Utilise JD Edwards ERP system for all AP-related tasks.
– Work within a team of three others.
– Collaborate with southern-based offices and two small international businesses.
– Handle purchase orders, including raising and reconciling POs.
– Ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments.
– Assist with order processing and resolving discrepancies.

Hours of Work:
– Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
– Preference for holidays not to be taken around month-end, where possible.

Duration:
– Temporary booking for 3 to 6 months with the possibility of becoming a permanent position.

Requirements:
– Proven experience in Accounts Payable and Purchase Ledger.
– Familiarity with order processing.
– Proficiency in using ERP systems, particularly JD Edwards would be an advantage but not a must.
– Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
– Ability to work effectively within a team and communicate with various departments.
