Malt is looking for its new Accounts Payable accountant, reporting to the Head of Accounting. The accounting team is composed of one general accountant and one international accountant.

Responsibilities :

You will be in charge of the full AP scope for Malt SA:

Participate in month-end close process (closing at WD5)

Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations.

Integrate the invoices & expense reports into Netsuite.

Prepare and manage the cut-off bookings (accruals and prepaid expenses).

Monitor and improve the AP process and the analytic allocation.

Implement, realize and improve control tools for P&L statements, balance sheet items and analytics.

Work with FP&A to identify and explain fluctuations in monthly financial information.

Manage the payment to the vendors and employees (expense reports).

Be the key point of contact for all the AP topics (vendors, Spendesk, employees)

Support the annual year-end audit and any regulatory or tax audits.

Participate in system implementations, improvements and upgrades.

You will also be included in the entities scope:

Work with and support the international accountant.

Today, the accounting of the entities is managed by external accountants. In the near future, we plan to integrate these tasks. So you will be part of this evolution and become in charge of AP scope for all the entities.

Profile :

You love to analyze accounts and to find solutions.

You are rigorous and accurate with a high level of attention to detail.

You are comfortable with Excel. Netsuite and/or Spendesk is a plus.

You have a real team spirit and a positive attitude.

You are results-oriented and curious to test and improve new processes and organizations.
