Who are we looking for?
Now we have the opportunity for an AP Accountant to join our expanding SSC team in Dunaharaszti (hybrid working). In this role, you will be responsible for all accounts payable activities, AP reconciliations and others, working for the European region.
What will you be doing?
As an AP accountant, you will be
-Processing invoices from various suppliers: checking, reconciliation, accounting
-Liaising with suppliers, dealing with problems
-Participation in monthly closing tasks, reporting tasks
-Processing outstanding items for paydays
-Actively participating in the takeover of processes in an ongoing transition
-Managing shared e-mail boxes
-Preparation and analysis of open order reports
-Reconciliation and analysis of open supplier items
-Management of supplier balances
-Participation and support in projects (e.g. testing, process optimisation, etc.)
Who are You?
The successful candidate will have some experience in Accounts Payable (AP), but we also welcome fresh graduates. An active knowledge of English is essential for the job as it will be used on a regular, daily basis.
In terms of education, a high school diploma or college degree in Finance/Accounting is required.

What competencies will you need?
To be successful in this role, you will need to have experience of working in a team, be able to work effectively within cross-functional team. In addition you will need to have:

-some experience with ERP systems, JDE experience preferable.

-Strong financial, IT and analytical skills coupled with operational focus.
-Strong customer/vendor focus.
-Ability to think analytically, focus on the big picture, yet to be able to drill into the detail and understand the impact. Understand how the business works and the upstream and downstream activities that impact and are impacted by Finance.
