Robert Half is currently seeking an AP Accountant for a long-term mission.Our client is a company in the media industry, located in the south of Brussels with excellent accessibility by public transport.As an AP Accountant, you will join a team of two people and your responsibilities will include:

• handle the processing of all purchasing invoices;
• ensure all supplier invoices comply with legal standards;
• managing and processing employee expense reports;
• preparing payments for invoices and expenses, ensuring deadlines are met;
• addressing supplier inquiries;
• developing KPIs, dashboards, and performing accounts payable analysis;
• enhancing processes through automation and participating in related projects.

The qualifications required for this position are as follows:

• a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required;
• at least 3 years of experience in accountancy is necessary;
• fluency in English and the national language (French/Dutch); proficiency in additional languages is a plus;
• strong understanding of VAT is essential;
• ability to work effectively in a team.
