Accounts Assistant

* Location: Hexham

We are seeking a Property Management Accounts Assistant to join a dynamic team, supporting the management of an expanding property portfolio across Northern England and Southern Scotland.

Key Responsibilities:

* Reconciling client monies and managing purchase ledgers
* Handling credit control and processing agent fees
* Preparing rental statements and managing client funds
* Collaborating with property managers and the accounts team on bank reconciliations
* Managing deposits and liaising with clients, colleagues, and contractors

About You:

* Strong organisational and communication skills
* Ability to manage a busy workload and stay calm under pressure
* Excellent customer service and a can-do attitude
* Experience in VAT and property-related accounts (preferred but not essential)
* Full driving license and own car required
