A stable and growing engineering business in Tamworth is looking to recruit an experienced Accounts Assistant to join their friendly and long-standing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a varied finance role within a supportive small team environment.

As the Accounts Assistant, your duties will include:

– Producing daily and monthly Management Reports including KPI, sales and efficiency reporting
– Processing Sales Orders and raising Sales invoices using the Mietrak MRP system
– Managing Purchase Ledger activities including invoice matching, reconciliations and supplier queries
– Preparing weekly and monthly payroll reports for management approval
– Supporting with Management Accounts preparation including WIP reporting
– Assisting with wider office administration, stakeholder queries and maintaining finance records

The successful Accounts Assistant will have:

– Proven relevant Accounts experience
– Previous experience using Sage 200, Xero or similar systems
– Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
– AAT qualification or studying towards AAT would be advantageous
– A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle if commuting from outside of Tamworth
