What You Will Do:
As an Accounts Assistant, your role will be integral to the finance department, ensuring the smooth operation of financial processes. Your responsibilities will include:
– Pursuing outstanding invoices and maintaining accurate purchase ledger records.
– Ensuring suppliers are paid in accordance with agreed terms and conditions.
– Investigating and resolving purchase ledger queries.
– Preparing payment batches and managing bank reconciliations.

– Supporting the preparation of management accounts and month-end duties.

The ideal candidate for the Accounts Assistant position will possess the following:
– Previous experience in an Accounts Assistant role.
– Proficiency in computerised accounting systems, preferably SAGE Line 50.
– Strong knowledge of MS Windows-based software, including spreadsheets and databases.
