Accounts Assistant – Milton Keynes
Pertemps are currently seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant to join our clients finance team in Milton Keynes. This is a hands-on accounts role, ideal for someone with a strong background in sales ledger processes and credit control within a busy office environment.
Hours: 9am-5:30pm
Office-based
Salary: £27,000 – £30,000
Key Responsibilities:
– Raise and issue accurate sales invoices in line with client agreements
– Maintain and reconcile the sales ledger
– Monitor aged debt and carry out proactive credit control
– Handle client queries and resolve payment issues professionally
– Update financial records using Xero and Sage
– Support month-end reporting and account reconciliations
What We’re Looking For:
– Proven experience in a accounts
– Working knowledge of Xero, Sage, and Microsoft Excel.
– Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy
– Confident communicator with a professional approach to client interactions
