Accounts Assistant 

My client, a large National Plant company, is looking for a qualified and experienced Accounts Assistant to join their team.

Key Responsibilities

– Assist Management Accountant in the preparation of monthly accounts.
– Daily bank reconciliations.
– Posting of receipts, payment and nominal transactions.
– Maintain and reconcile hire purchase schedules.
– Maintain and reconcile loan accounts.
– Upload sales to accounting system from our operational software Syrinx and reconcile.
– Sales reporting.
– Intercompany recharge invoicing.
– Assist with Accounts Payable.
– New supplier set up, including verification of bank details.
– Employee expenses and credit card postings.
– Weekly debtors reporting.
– Assist Credit Control.
– Collate monthly payroll information for submission to external payroll providers.
– System and process development.

 
Candidate Specification

– Experience in a similar role.
– Part qualified, HNC, HND or AAT desirable.
– Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
– Positive with a willingness to learn and push continuous improvement.
– Confident with good communication and interpersonal skills.
– Excellent numeracy and administration skills.
