The position
As Accounting Executive, your responsibilities will be in the field of accounting, local statutory tax, local statutory financial statements, and statutory reporting in accordance with local legislation within due recognition of Novo Nordisk (NN) vision, values, policies in accordance with Novo Nordisk Türkiye’s strategies. Furthermore, you will have an overall responsibility for the management of NN Türkiye Accounting and Tax activities in Global Business Service India. 

Your main responsibilities will be to:

-Managing all “Accounts Payable activities for PO & Non-PO invoice processes, Expense Management activities for NN Türkiye employees and fixed asset accounting” with Global Business Services support, also supporting the correct execution of the daily, monthly and annual accounting operations according to accounting standards are solid, effective and timely performed
-Ensuring full compliance of Turkish legal entity with the timely filling of all statutory reports, tax returns, and all necessary and relevant SOPs are in place within the Accounting & Tax area to secure sustainable and efficient knowledge sharing
-Managing relationship with external auditors in areas of Accounting and Tax and managing tax inspections if it is necessary and ensuring strong communication between Global Business Services AP (Accounts Payable), Expense Management and Accounting teams, Finance &Operations (F&O) teams and also supporting the Line of Business and close coordination with external partners
-Driving digital innovation in area of responsibility and lead/participate in cross functional projects, steering committees, tasks force where Accounting & Tax expertise is required and also train & develop relevant colleagues in Accounting & Tax matters.
-Acting as super user for global systems such as ICE, Concur and Coupa
 
Qualifications
You have a bachelor’s degree in finance, economics and business administration and master’s degree in finance or business administration. You have at least 5 years of solid experience within Accounting & Tax and tax audit in a global corporate company You’re fluent in written and spoken both in Turkish and English. Further sought-after skills are:

-You are outcome focused, also detail oriented

About the Department 
The department is responsible for Novo Nordisk Turkey Accounting and Tax Processes excluding Finance. The team is working with Global Business Service support for genaral accounting tasks.
