You’ll Help Us Connect the World
 This role supports our Cable Exchange division, where you will be responsible for the more sophisticated activities associated with maintaining ledger accounts and developing financial statements and reports. Working in a Shared Services environment, you would work with an accounting manager, sales personnel, HR, accounts payables and receivables, and various other finance and accounting functions for Cable Exchange entities in California and North Carolina

-Assist with month-end accounting close for supported entities and assist with Accounts Payable invoice entries
-Prepared journal entries and account reconciliations in accordance with company policy preparing and ensuring general ledger accounts are reconciled monthly.
-Prioritize and maintain an efficient filing system to ensure easy and timely access to historical accounting information.
-Prepares standard and niche financial reports (Balance Sheets and Income Statements) and performs analysis to summarize current and projected company financial position
-Inventory management, including item and pricing control, reconciliation, process improvement
-Supports internal and external audit requests and statutory reporting
-Daily cash management, including accounts payable/receivable functions, vendor payments, expense reimbursements, cash collections, cash deposits, monthly bank reconciliation, bank wire transfers, and petty cash.
-Assist with the quarterly and annual audit process.
-Work with the Accounting Manager to ensure a clean and timely year-end audit.
-Assists in the development of accounting policies and procedures 

Required Qualifications for Consideration:

-Bachelor’s degree in accounting and a year or more of accounting experience
-Proficient using Excel (PIVOT table, lookups, sumifs, other formulas)  

Will Excite Us If You Have:

-Sage 300 and ERP experience
-Knowledge of Microsoft SQL and SAP Crystal report
-Experience working in manufacturing
 

Our salary ranges consider a wide variety of factors, including but not limited to benchmarking by independent third-party consultants, skill sets, years of experience, training, education, geography, and other business needs. Depending on experience, the range can be higher for candidates with exceptional experience and a demonstrated history of successful performance. The expected salary range for this position is $68,600 – $72,000.

The candidate will be rewarded with a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision plans, life and accidental death insurance, a 401(k) plan, and participation in the Company’s Incentive Plan. Candidates starting with the Company will be eligible for eleven paid holidays in a full calendar year, two weeks of paid vacation (prorated based on start date), and other leave options.
