THE GOALThe aim of the Accountant, is to support the our local Italy finance team with day to day accounting tasks, administration and specific ERP project work streams. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will communicate with other teams and departments across our pan-European business to complete finance related activities. We are looking for a reliable, autonomous, and vibrant resource that can be integrated into a fast-developing environment.WHAT YOU DOIt will be your job to support the finance team in carrying out Accounting and Finance administrative dutiesYou will support in a new ERP system (exp. MS Dynamics beneficial)Contribute to the active billing cycleBe an expert in electronic invoicingSupporting the General Manager on all finance related matters, including, but not limited to, producing monthly board packs, budgeting and reforecasting process, relationship with external accountants, banks and tax authoritiesProviding solutions and being a true business partner to achieve and drive organizational objectivesManaging the financial results of the Business Unit P&L. Identifying risks and opportunities and recommending corrective actionsMonitoring financial performance (P&L) against agreed targets and advising on appropriate actionsWorking closely with the Group Finance team to drive process improvements and implement new toolsEnsure that the finance processes follow the Group guideline and comply with local French GAAPWHO YOU ARE:Proficient with numbers and ExcelOrganisational capabilitiesprevious experience in Microsoft dynamicsfluent in English & French + Dutch or German is desirable
