Purpose of the jobThe Account Manager is responsible for the sale of the organization’s protective packaging solutions used to protect and preserve any item which is shipped or delivered. Ranpak is a global leader of environmentally sustainable, paper-based packaging solutions. With a mission to deliver sustainable packaging solutions that help improve supply chain performance and costs.
Responsibilities

Co-operating with distributors with organizational skills, account strategies, territory planning and administrative responsibilities to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction is maintained. Develop and increase sales revenue to meet assigned targets.

Being actively involved in new generating new distributor sales, as well as sales orientation and training programs. Acting as a resource to distributors in contract opportunities, proposals and proformas. Assist distributors with contract negotiations, closing the sales and developing market plans for contract accounts.

Assisting with the planning of sales exhibits, attending trade shows. Participating in the education and training conferences on selling and marketing programs. Coordinating and assisting in leading sales meetings to include selection and agenda preparation.

Keeping informed of new products, services, and other general information of interest to customers. Checks on competitive activity and develops new methods of attaining distributors and assisting distributors in attaining new accounts.

Troubleshoots problems regarding products provided. Answers questions from distributors and handles complaints.
Requirements

Bachelor’s degree.

Minimum 5 to 10 years of experience working within sales.

Strong closing skills. Looking for a hunter mentality.

Ideally experience working with distribution networks.

Experience with CRM programs.

Activity in field sales or project planning, with active customer care or the management of parallel projects.

Economic planning and organization of business trips.

Motivated and enthusiastic sales personality with good presentation skills and confidence in closing deals.

Conceptual, structured, and independent way of working.

Confident appearance, also when dealing with different hierarchical levels and cultures.

High technical understanding and the ability to explain complex processes in an understandable way
