ACCOUNT MANAGER

Converge is seeking experienced Sales individuals to join our Account Management team to help us with our expansion plans. The role is sales-focused and target-driven. You will be responsible for securing new business and maintaining an excellent level of customer service to current customers. You will maintain Converge’s market image by adhering to our quality and trade manifest, and remaining up to date on industry trends, market activities, and the competition. This is a business-to-business sales and purchasing role, in a very dynamic and commercial working environment, where electronic components are bought from and sold to technology companies.

What will you be doing in Converge?

  • You will be establishing relationships with key contacts at major customers in a business development role, including making customer visits and attendance at trade shows. You will be responsible for securing new business and also maintaining an excellent level of service to current customers.

  • Maintain Converge’s market image by adhering to our quality and trade manifest, and remaining up to date on industry trends, market activities, and competition.

  • Closely work with Converge internal departments and Arrow to secure and maintain business opportunities. Team and collaborate with other account managers assigned to your global account.

  • Prospecting and identifying new business opportunities within an assigned account or market segments or geography. Map out customers, with all key decision makers, grow and retain networks into key account(s).

  • Keep management informed of strategic market trends and conditions that impact the performance of Convereg’s solution within a defined marketplace.

  • Actively participate in a continuous improvement effort designed to maximize the results of the business development, account acquisition, and account penetration process. Must develop and maintain effective presentation skills for the portfolio of professional services Convereg offers to its target audience.

  • Develop and implement customer engagement plans for services. Support training and preparation of clients and ensure a smooth launch and ongoing use of services.

  • Can include additional tasks as assigned.

  • Travel required as needed.

What are we looking for?

  • An enthusiastic and commercial attitude, a bachelor’s degree, and/or highly successful sales experience in the electronic component sales field.

  • You are very comfortable with growth and change and have a positive, entrepreneurial attitude to the future.

  • Strong selling skills and ability to influence at all levels within external customers

  • Customer orientation and sympathy

  • Prospecting and presentation skills
