Position overview:

We are now looking to hire an Account Manager (f/m/d) corporate travel, based in the UK. This new hire will play an important role as we continue to grow and expand our client base. In this role you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of customers in UK, developing relationships with those clients, and growing the share of travel spend with Egencia. The Account Manager will also need to show period-over-period revenue growth, long-term profitability and client retention.

Responsibilities:

• Manage relationship with customers and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop and administer short and long-term key strategies for program development and maturity

• Grow Egencia customers’ profitability by selling new services and products

• Manage customer expectations and complaints, liaising where appropriate with internal departments e.g. operations, technology and finance

• Provide support to sales and implementation to ensure a successful program launch

• Aggregate, analyze and communicate client feedback to support future product development initiatives

Skills/Qualifications:

• 3+ years experience in support of a B2B organization

• Account management experience in Corporate Travel industry is a plus

• Ability to analyze data and make strategic recommendations

• Comfortable working under pressure

• Welcoming the challenge of a fast-paced changing environment

• Experience working in a virtual environment is a plus

• Demonstrated ability to understand, market and support online product

• Strong communication skills to concisely communicate key issues and results in a manner appropriate to the audience

• Excellent time management, organizational and multi-tasking skills

• Ability to be flexible and work analytically in a problem-solving environment

• Ability to work autonomously, as well as working in a team environment

• Ability to travel 20%-30%

• Fluent English, other languages are a plus
