The Overseas Marketing team is responsible for the negotiation and placement of all Airline, Aerospace and larger General Aviation business into the International Insurance market. The role will give the candidate exposure to a wide variety of Aviation’s business, from the smaller accounts to large flag carriers and provide a unique perspective as to market trends.

The Role

• Attend client pre-renewal presentations to Insurers

• Liaise with Brokers and Account Managers to gather the required information for renewals to place Airline, Aerospace and General Aviation business with our panel of Insurers. This will involve daily calls and updates on multiple policies

• Prepare renewal emails to be sent to all markets

• Negotiate with Underwriters over terms, conditions and pricing of placements Develop relationships with Insurers

• Manage and distribute any endorsements which need to be agreed by our panel of Insurers Accurately confirm coverage bound on placements

• Complete FMA in a timely manner

• Collate final paperwork for processing as soon as practicable after renewal

• Ensure all placements are finalised in accordance with the established processes within the team

The Requirements

• Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to form strong working relationships quickly

• Strong communication skills and an ability to produce and deliver high quality presentations

• An aptitude for independent working, strong organisational skills and a desire to deliver solutions

• Good Excel and PowerPoint skills

• Languages are not essential but there may be an opportunity to tailor the client servicing/ interaction element of the role around some language skills due to our global portfolio of clients

• Project Management skills would be an advantage

• Aviation Market knowledge

• Understanding interaction with clients

• Essentials of promoting client excellence to insurers
