Account Manager – Automotive
Location: Warwick
Shift : Days – Monday – Friday
Permanent
Salary: Up to A£50,000 per annum + bonus
We’re currently recruiting for an Account Manager for a specialist manufacturing company based in Warwick. With impressive capabilities of low-volume prototypes through to production, our client can offer 3D Printing, Vacuum Forming, Injection Moulding, and Casting services as well as Metal Fabrication, CNC, and specialist composite manufacturing capabilities to their clients.
They’re currently looking to recruit for an Account Manager to join their small, but successful team, on a full-time permanent basis. This person will be responsible for managing a variety of accounts, achieving sales targets, and maintaining as well as developing new customer relations.
The Account Manager role:
* Contact existing Company Customers and Prospects from the target list.
* Prepare Sales Quotations and send to Customers.
* Follow up to qualify any Customer feedback / negotiate as required.
* Create & update Project Timing Plans as required.
* Understand the Technical/ Engineering aspects of Customer Projects
* Produce Technical Reports where necessary to communicate any issues.
* Participate in Design for Manufacture (DFM) activities to projects.
* Meet with Customers to discuss Project requirements.
* Assist in the maintenance and evolution of the Company’s technical documents relating to the processes and services offered by the company.
* Attend relevant Trade Shows to keep up to date with the latest technologies.
* Participate in Company Presentations at Customer sites and Trade Shows
* Manage and support Suppliers as required for the Company.
The ideal Account Manager:
* Experience working in the Automotive Industry as an Account Manager or a similar sales role,
* Technical knowledge, with the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings,
* Proven success in driving growth & profitability,
* Proven experience managing and growing existing customer base,
* A passion for the automotive industry is beneficial.
