Account Director

Location – Home based with travel to Swindon/Leatherhead/client sites (including London.

Candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK with a 3 year footprint, in order to obtain the relevant security clearance.

The Estates Intelligence solution empowers our clients to accomplish strategic objectives by optimising insight into estate activity and performance in an evolving FM market. As part of the ongoing growth, KBR is actively recruiting to expand its team to deliver current and future Estates Intelligence contracts.

Responsibilities

As an Account Director, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the successful delivery of Estates/Facilities Management and intelligence services to our clients. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships, acting as the primary point of contact and ensuring exceptional service delivery.

  • Developing and executing strategies aligned with clients’ current, emerging, and strategic needs, identifying breakthrough initiatives and projects.

  • Collaborating with clients’ senior teams and supply chains, fostering mutual trust and driving value through strategic insights and improvements.

  • Leading the development and implementation of operational improvements, ensuring compliance with standards, policies, and regulations.

  • Cultivating a positive employee climate and working environment that promotes continuous improvement and reflects the core values of the organization.

  • Acting as an escalation point for all aspects of services delivered, possessing comprehensive knowledge of the team, contracts, and estate operations.

  • Utilizing qualified personnel and subject matter experts to proactively identify potential issues, optimize operating systems, and deliver insightful management information.

  • Supporting the Integrator team in establishing trend analysis and benchmarking to drive continuous improvement and innovation across projects.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • Proven experience as an Account Director or similar senior-level position in Estates/Facilities Management, with a deep understanding of complex estate environments.

  • Strong network and established relationships within the industry, demonstrating a track record of successful client management.

  • Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with the capability to identify and implement breakthrough initiatives.

  • Extensive knowledge of compliance standards, policies, and regulations related to Estates/Facilities Management.

  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams towards achieving common goals.

  • Strong business acumen, with the ability to drive value for clients and develop long-term partnerships.

  • Degree qualification in a relevant field is preferred.
