Student Accommodation Manager
Grenville Street – Liverpool
£25,920 – £27,284 per year
35 hours per week
We are looking to recruit a Student Accommodation Manager to join our team at Grenville Street, where you will be responsible for handling the day-to-day management of the site and staff. You will work in a challenging and rewarding environment which will offer the excellent opportunities to develop within the team and company.
The role of Student Accommodation Manager will include:
-Managing occupancy through working with partners and local educational institutions
-Preparing and managing local budgets, monitoring accounts and facilitating debt recovery
-Monitoring contract service performance, taking action to deal with poor performance and promoting best practice
-Managing the recruitment, performance and development of staff
-Developing and implementing effective operational plans to ensure that service delivery meets contracted quality standards
Skills and experiences:
-Proven experience of working in the student accommodation is essential
-Proven experience of staff management within a customer facing environment is essential
-It is vital that you are an extremely organised person with the ability to efficiently prioritise your workload
-Excellent interpersonal, customer service and negotiation skills
-Working knowledge of the application of Health and Safety legislation
-Proficient user of Microsoft Office applications
-Travel will be requirement of the role, therefore a full valid driving licence is essential
