Access Backhauling Network Specialist

Role purpose:

If you are innovative and curious, join the Detailed Planning & Optimization team of the Network Development department!

As an Access Backhauling Network Specialist, you will have the opportunity to define annual and long-term plans for Italy based on strategic, engineering and financial guidelines.

In addition, your goal will be to guarantee an excellent network at the service of the end customer through transmission network optimization activities.

Whit us you will:

Defining the plans of the transmission network and monitoring their final implementation.

Coordinate a working group for the resolution of complex issues.

Define fiber optic connections for the minimization of capacitive upgrades of the MW network by adopting a “smart” capex process.

Interact with the Strategy and Finance function to design strategies to be implemented in the access transmission domain in Italy.

Support to the Network Strategy Engineering department in defining hardware and configuration guidelines also through discussions with vendors.

Driving cost reduction initiatives through the optimization of radio resources.

Be a pivotal role in contact with local structures.

Be responsible of top-rated mobile network KPI through transmission optimization and supporting Network Operations department teams.

Apply if you have: 

Relevant higher education in TLC field

Preference : 3+ years of technical experience in international and highly complex organized structures

Knowledge of whole transmission architecture of a convergent Telco, in particular mobile access transmission network

Knowledge of access transmission backhauling network, in particular fiber and MW link

Preference of vendor specific microwave hardware knowledge

Data analysis approach and strong attitude to problem solving

Project management & Financial skills

Good knowledge of English
