About the Role:Develop learning support material and wellbeing guidance for CGMA candidates (both pathways) to allow them to move through their examinations to membership. You will aim to implement ways to overcome exam progression obstacles and therefore minimise off track and lapsed study behaviour. Your work may also involve fostering collaboration directly with the learning partners to bring student progression to membership and grow revenue. You will report into the Director of Relationship Programmes.You Will:Manage study support resources and events that aid candidate progression to the CGMA pathways, globally. Additionally, oversee the academic working groups between the Association and learning partners, which promote progression activities and ensure agreement of objectives.This will include:· Create study support resources, with or without learning partners, that lead to tangible improvements in progression rates. This includes, for example, the creation of articles, blogs, webinar presentations, and study guides all designed to instil confidence and reduce lapsed rates.· Identify ways to reduce ‘off-track’ candidate behaviour and provide one-to-one technical support for any failed student.· Implement improvements in how we store and disseminate support material.· Coordinate progression initiatives across departments, such as the regional teams, progression marketing, content team and the global contact centre.· Develop ‘training-the-trainer’ programmes across different global pathways.· Present on technical content, for live webinars.· Escalation point for any technical academic issue highlighted by the learning partners.· Create content for our Resource Library specifically aimed at candidate wellbeing. Suggest ways to improve the content and accessibility of the wellbeing material in the Study Hub.· Manage the relationships with the mental health charities and recommend which charities we should partner with across the globe.· Help develop a Safeguarding Procedure. The role includes being a ‘Safeguarding Representative’ – part of the team required to assist candidates with any specific safeguarding issue.· Project manage the cohorting programme working with learning providers, marketing and the content team to create a structured programme of study support with a defined start and end dates.· Responsible for the resource library – how content is grouped, how to make the content more popular and accessible.· Undertake research into identifying the obstacles to student progression and recommend action plans to overcome those obstacles. Help implement those plans.· Responsible for designing candidate focus groups/feedback sessions on a quarterly basis.You Have:· Experience presenting online or in classroom to accountancy candidates.· CGMA qualified or equivalent.· Background of student pass rate success.· Experience of initiatives that succeeded in improving the student learning experience.· A background of working for a professional accountancy institute or accountancy tuition provider.· Ability ‘to think like the customer’ – students, employers, learning partners.· Ability to analyse complex data and identify trends and opportunities to enhance revenue streams.· Excellent partner management skills in managing relationships at all levels.· Influencing, change management, facilitation and the ability to diffuse conflict.· Financial awareness and the ability to manage within a budget.How We Support You:We provide flexibility to help you achieve a good work-life balance.
