Position description / Job description

* Provide essential note-taking services to students with disabilities, attending lectures and seminars.

* Create accurate and accessible notes for students.

* Produce legible handwritten notes for lectures, seminars, and group tasks.

* Review notes after each session to ensure they are in a suitable format for the student.

* Maintain a professional role and relationship with the student at all times.

* Act in the best interests of learners while adhering to institutional policies and procedures.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

* A degree is required.

* Excellent attention to detail.

* Neat handwriting and the ability to produce legible notes.

* Excellent typing skills.

* Strong spelling and grammar skills.

* Punctuality and reliability.

* Ability to work quickly and efficiently.

* Strong organizational skills.

* Experience working with individuals with specific learning difficulties in higher or further education is preferred but not required.
