Job Category: ClericalApplications are invited for an Academic Support Officer (Research & Impact), which is a full-time permanent post working in the College of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences. The post will provide effective administrative support for research, including postgraduate research students, and research impact activities within the College and its constituent Schools.Candidates should be educated to A level, NVQ level III (or equivalent) in an appropriate subject; have previous experience of working within an administrative environment and be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel etc.). Good communication and organisation skills are required, as well as the ability to accurately enter data. Previous experience of working in Higher Education, particularly in an administrative role, would be an advantage.The successful candidate will be expected to commence as soon as reasonably possible.This role will be located on campus at Bangor. Through our Dynamic Working framework, there will also be the option to spend some time working remotely (although remaining in the UK) to support work life balance, which will be discussed further with candidates at interview.Applications will also be considered to carry out this role on a part-time or job share basis.
