Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Principal IAM Developer who has spent years working with Identity and Access Management and understands its criticality in a corporate environment.
The Role:
Be an IAM Developer Expert and support our teams in driving our Identity & Access Management strategy towards corporate success. As SAP runs SAP, you will work with your colleagues towards the overall strategy within the SAP Intelligent Enterprise Solutions organization.
– Excellent Experience in IAM Authorization Design & Implementation is a must.
– Outstanding Knowledge and Experience in ABAP programming language (SAP Workbench, SAP-ABAP, ABAP-Objects, SAP-Dynpro, Web-Dynpro, Web-Services, Web-Methods, FIORI, Eclipse, PI, iDoc, ABAP Restful Application).
– Understand business requirements and challenge requests and translate them into development requirements.
– Understanding good testing practices, including unit testing and Test Drive Development.
– Previous Experience in Java and other programming languages is appreciated.
– Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases is recommended.
– Experience with Git and Continuous Integration/ Delivery is appreciated.
– Excellent communication skills, able to articulate complex ideas in a structured way.
– Strong analytical and conceptual skills.
– Flexibility and openness to new challenges and tasks.
– Ability to work with virtual and distributed teams.
– Quick learner, open and ready to be cross-skilled in any technologies as per the needs of the business.
What you bring:
– Take over the responsibility of our development environment and establish state-of-the-art tools and processes
– Collaborate closely within our Agile Release Train, which consists of multiple cross-functional teams and with other teams outside of our Agile Release Experience with GDPR and technical interfaces like SCIM, REST, JDBC, SOAP, and RFC
– Ensure operational excellence for our on-prem and cloud landscapes. Hyperscaler
– Contribute to the IAM Strategy & Roadmap within SAP
– Support our teams & projects with high impact and risk towards broad corporate goals in virtual setups
– Align with other teams on their deliverables to foster collaboration and bring up innovative ideas
– Support younger talents in their learning journey
– Fluent in English, written and spoken.
