The Essentials:

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* A valid DBS on the update service (or willingness to get one).
* Knowledge of subject and curriculum.

Key Responsibilities:

* Deliver clear and engaging Science lessons across KS3 and KS4.
* Set up and oversee safe practical experiments in the lab.
* Mark student work and provide constructive feedback.
* Manage classroom behaviour to ensure a productive learning environment.
* Follow departmental schemes of work and exam board specifications.
* Work closely with lab technicians to prepare resources for practicals.
* Attend departmental meetings and contribute to curriculum planning.
