Offer DescriptionAccording to the Article 119.1 and 3-4 of the Parliament Act of July 20, 2018 – Higher Education and Science Law (Journal of Laws 2018, Section 1668 as amended) and § 135. 1 of the Statute of the Strzemiński Academy of Fine Arts ŁódźRECTOR OF THE STRZEMIŃSKI ACADEMY OF FINE ARTS ŁÓDŹ ANNOUNCES A COMPETITION for the position of an assistant professor (adiunkt) in the Institute of Art Education of the Faculty of Fine Arts of the Academy in the group of research and didactic employees, for a specified period, full-time,primary employment.The competition may be entered by candidates who fulfil conditions specified in Article 113 of the Parliament Act of July 20, 2018 – Higher Education and Science Law (Journal of Laws 2018, Section 1668 as amended) and § 141 section 2 of the Statute of the Strzemiński Academy of Fine Arts Łódź and who fulfil the following requirements: * Have at least a PhD degree (doktor) in the field of fine arts and art conservation.

• Have at least 5 years’ experience in a higher education institution(s) in a position involving research and teaching duties.
• Have teaching experience in a higher education institution to teach subjects that combine artistic activities with education in the broadest sense, including art, visual, cultural and museum education.
• Have experience in teaching subjects that include issues related to accessibility of the arts for people with disabilities.
• Have a significant artistic output confirmed by exhibitions in Poland and abroad.
• Have experience in running artistic and educational projects.
• Have a scientific output in the form of publications and documented participation in conferences.
• Know English on a level which allows teaching in the language.

The post of assistant professor at the Institute of Artistic Education would take effect from the spring semester of the academic year 2024/2025.Range of basic tasks to be performed on the position:Basic obligations of an academic teacher are defined in Article 115 of the Parliament Act of July 18, 2018 – Higher Education and Science Law (Journal of Laws 2018, Section 1668 as amended) and § 4 of the Work Rules of the Strzemiński Academy of Fine Arts Łódź published on the Public Information Bulletin website of the Strzemiński Academy of Fine Arts Łódź.

Required documents: * A formal application and motivation letter;

• Completed personal data form and a consent for personal data processing – Appendix

no 3; * CV including information about the Candidate’s research and teaching work and artistic/scientific activities;

• Consent for processing personal data included in the CV for the recruitment process purposes – Appendix 4;
• 5Copies of documents confirming the Candidate’s education, qualifications and work experience, including the university graduation diploma and language certificate(s);
• Documentation of artistic/academic, teaching and organisational achievements and output and organisational achievements (portfolio);
• 7. Declaration that the Candidate fulfils requirements resulting from Art. 113 of the Parliament Act of July 20, 2018 – Higher Education and Science Law (Journal of Laws 2018, Section 1668 as amended) – Appendix 1;
• Declaration stating that the Strzemiński Academy of Fine Arts Łódź will be the Candidate’s primary place of employment – Appendix 2.
