Our client, a well-established Shipping Company, is currently looking to recruit an experienced 3.5t Driver to join their fast growing team in Slough.

As the 3.5t Driver, you will be driving a 3.5t company vehicle, completing deliveries and collections of freight around London and LHR. You will ensure all goods are secure and all paperwork is complete.

You will be checking all freight that is being collected and handed over, ensuring everything is correct.

Other duties of the 3.5t Driver:

* Loading / unloading vehicles
* Packing freight, ensuring it is ready for transport via Air and Road
* Liaising with security companies when making certain collections and deliveries
* Ensuring all driving hours and vehicle checks are recorded
* Scanning PODs once deliveries have been made
* Ensuring vehicle is always clean and carrying out vehicle defect reports

The successful 3.5t Driver will have previous experience driving 3.5t vehicles, as well as experience transporting artwork and sculptures, and knowledge of driving hours.

You will need to hold a full UK driving licence and have current CPC training, or a valid driver qualification card (DQC).

We are keen to speak with candidates who have strong knowledge of the English language – both written and verbal.

Having knowledge of the POD scanning app and outlook app on a smart phone is a key requirement for this role.
