2nd Line Support Engineer – Hybrid Working (Business Sector Clients)

GBP30000-GBP40000 + Bonus + Benefits

IT Consultancy with offices across the UK are expanding their Surrey office and currently require a 2nd Line Support Engineer to join the team working in an existing technical team, managing business customers across the South-East providing detailed technical support (Cloud or Part-Cloud) via an internal ticketing system

The 2nd Line Support Engineer will come with specific technical training, but the ideal candidate will be working for an MSP or Reseller and be used to dealing with external customers maintaining external systems providing desktop support

Key experience

* 5+ years’ experience in a 2nd line position or similar
* 3rd line experience beneficial
* Excellent communication skills and experience working to project deadlines ensuring SLA’s are met to ensure ‘business as usual’ for all customers.
* Hold industry qualification ideally either Microsoft or Networking focussed
* Full driving license

The 2nd Line Support Engineer is hybrid based coming into the office 1 day a week, with the other days being remote. You will have the opportunity to progress in the business receiving additional training to move into 3rd line and eventually field based.
