Our client provides IT and unified communication services across the globe, over time growing to have offices in several countries and working with organisations across 6 continents. Having such a large coverage and vast experience enables them to provide partners with tailored logistics project support for all clients, worldwide including complex international migration and IMACD projects.

They are recruiting for a 2nd Line Support Engineer to join the team in the Derby office. This is a full-time, office-based position.

Role & Responsibilities:
– Answer client queries via face-to-face, telephone and email
– Logging of service desk tickets, ensuring all the fields are completed
– Travelling to customer sites across the UK to resolve issues
– Proactively seeking resolutions for customers; keep customers updated at all times
– Providing support on all IT related matters aiming at resolving majority of incidents at first point of call 

Essential Requirements:
• Microsoft 365 Migration and Tenancy Management
• Microsoft SharePoint Monitoring and Configuration
• Microsoft Azure platforms
• Microsoft Windows 7 and above
• Microsoft In-Tune and PowerShell apps
• Microsoft Office Suites 2007 and above
• Microsoft Windows Server 2008 and above
• Basic Network troubleshooting skills (DNS, DHCP, general internet and network connectivity)

Desirable Skills:
– Experience in an IT service desk role
– Multi-Lingual speaking
– Certification of Microsoft Certified Professional, MS900, MS100, AZ700 etc.

Candidates must have a driving licence and own transport to be available to travel within the UK.
