Offer DescriptionThe successful candidate will be part of the UIB Cell Therapy and Tissue Engineering research group (TERCIT) and undertake activities in the health field under the framework of the group’s area of research: ‘Preparation and Characterisation of Stem Cells (Haematopoietic and Mesenchymal Umbilical Cord) in Cleanrooms (GMP) for Use in Cell Therapy.’The successful candidate will undertake the following tasks:1) Bibliographic searches and experimental design2) Lab work: refining and characterising an in vitro cystic fibrosis model from induced pluripotent stem cells3) Lab work: obtaining extracellular vesicles from different courses4) Lab work: characterising isolated extracellular vesicles5) Assessing the impact of EV obtained in the cystic fibrosis model6) Performing analyses on the results obtained and writing up the relevant conclusions.PI: Dra.
