2 Senior Embedded Software Engineers are now needed for a company who have a huge global presence and excellent reputation in the market with an office in Manchester. As their Senior Embedded Software Engineer you will be joining a team of around 10 Engineers working on the full product life cycle of the software including design, development testing and debugging and working on the firmware alongside their Electronics Design team. The company offer flexible working and 2 days remote working per week as well as an excellent benefits package.
You will be working with customer requirements and translating this into the designing of the software, programming in C/C++ for Embedded products with the company also offering excellent career plans not just on site but also global opportunities if this is something that interests you!
Core skills for this role include :-
* Embedded Software/Firmware
* C/C++ Programming
* Communication Protocols
* Low level device drivers
* Understanding/Appreciation of test automation eg Python
* TDD
* Excellent attitude and enthusiasm.
Desirable Skills:
* Having mentored or lead junior engineers
* Agile Methodology
* Wireless communications eg Zigbee IOT Bluetooth
