1st Line IT Service Desk Engineer

An exciting opportunity has opened for a 1st Line IT Service Desk Engineer to join a high x2011;performing IT team within a rapidly growing Managed Service Provider based in Gloucester.
This is a fantastic chance for someone currently working in a 1st line or junior IT support role who is looking to step up and develop their career in a fast x2011;paced MSP environment. You’ll gain hands x2011;on exposure across a broad range of technologies, from day x2011;to x2011;day service desk support through to live infrastructure project work.
The Role
As a 1st Line IT Service Desk Engineer, you’ll be the first point of contact for users, delivering outstanding customer service while resolving technical issues efficiently and professionally.
You’ll be involved in:
* Providing 1st line support across a busy service desk
* Logging, categorising and prioritising incidents and service requests
* Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues
* Ensuring users are kept informed and SLA targets are met
* Building, installing and configuring hardware and software
* Supporting live infrastructure and project work alongside senior engineers
Key Skills & Experience
* Previous experience in a 1st line IT support or Service Desk role
* Strong customer service and communication skills
* Office 365 support and administration
* Experience with Outlook and email support
* Exposure to SharePoint, Teams, Azure queries
* Basic knowledge of InTune
* A proactive attitude and eagerness to learn and progress
