Job description

To be responsible, working alongside the Head Coach for the delivery of football sessions in connection with the Crawley Town 16-19 Education Programme, playing in the National Football Youth League. To be an enthusiastic member of the team that students respect and engage with.QUALIFICATIONSEssential:

  • FA Level 2 Football Coach (Must hold qualification, not be working towards).
  • Emergency First Aid and Safeguarding Children Certificates.
  • Enhanced DBS Certificate.

Desirable:

  • FA Level 3 (Uefa B) Football Coach or higher qualification
  • FA Youth Module 1, 2 & 3, plus Youth Award.
  • FA Level 2 Goalkeepers Award

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE

  • Planning and delivering football coaching sessions.
  • Using a range of strategies to engage with various groups of participants.
  • Understanding of safeguarding issues.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Experience of delivering versatile coaching sessions.

KEY SKILLS

  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Outstanding customer service and sales skills.
  • Ability to work without supervision.
  • Possess role model behaviour.
  • Work well within a team.
