Job Title: 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Kirkby, Liverpool

Do you have experience supporting children and young people with Special Educational Needs and disabilities? Are you a motivated Teaching Assistant looking for a new opportunity to make a positive impact on students? Are you enthusiastic about working in a school setting with challenging pupils?

Randstad Education is collaborating with a specialist school in Kirkby to provide support for children with a range of Special Educational Needs. We are seeking passionate, confident, and patient 1:1 Teaching Assistants to join our team immediately. This term-time role offers a great opportunity to be part of a dedicated team, with the potential for a permanent position within the school. You will be working closely with students who have diverse learning needs.

Key Responsibilities:

* Work with children and young people with a variety of SEN, including Autism and ADHD
* Act as a confident, creative, and resilient behaviour mentor to foster positive relationships with students
* Ideally, have previous experience working with SEN pupils in schools
* Be patient, passionate, and professional
* Assist in delivering lessons across various classes
* Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons using the P Scales curriculum
* Build positive learning relationships with SEN pupils
* Support students with a range of needs, including MLD, PMLD, SLD, ADHD, and physical disabilities
* Demonstrate excellent communication and time management skills
* Be available for an immediate start
