Job Title: IT & Comms Maintenance Engineer (ROI)
Location: Based in Republic of Ireland providing Field and Remote support to clients throughout Ireland
Salary: EUR32,500 – EUR37,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Working Hours: 8.5 hours per day, 40 hours per week within our opening hours of 8am – 6pm with a 30-minute lunch. Monday to Friday with additional On Call and Overtime support available.

This hybrid role combines remote technical support with planned site visits across Dublin, Cork, and Limerick. It offers a great opportunity to expand your expertise and naturally progress into a senior communications or network engineering career path.
Please note as this role requires site visits a few times per week and possibly daily during busy periods, candidates must be based within Ireland or willing to relocate to be considered for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
* Take ownership of scheduled maintenance visits across partner sites in the Republic of Ireland
* Provide clear, helpful IT and communications support by phone, email, remote tools and in person
* Carry out infrastructure health checks and preventative maintenance to spot issues early
* Support Microsoft 365, Windows, networking and end-user technologies
* Troubleshoot VoIP, internet connectivity and telephony issues
* Keep HaloPSA tickets and technical documentation accurate and up to date
* Support installations, project delivery and technology refresh programmes
* Be Flotek’s trusted technical representative on site, building confidence with partners
Travel Requirements:
* Regular travel to partner sites in Dublin, Cork and Limerick, with occasional overnight stays
* Mileage reimbursed in line with Flotek’s mileage policy
* 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, worked within our opening hours of 8.00am to 6.00pm
* 5 hours per day, including a 30-minute lunch break
* Additional on-call and overtime support may be available

* UniFi networking and SonicWall firewalls
* Mobile and FloAnywhere solutions
What we’re looking for:
You will be a confident, customer-focused engineer who can work independently in the field while staying closely connected to the wider Flotek team.
Essential Skills & Experience:
* At least 3 years’ experience in an MSP, infrastructure, IT support or field engineering role.
* Strong Microsoft 365 administration and troubleshooting skills, including Azure and the wider Microsoft cloud.
* Experience supporting Windows desktops and servers
* Working knowledge of Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID
* A good understanding of VoIP and hosted telephony, and awareness of Microsoft Teams Phone (Operator Connect and Teams Calling Plans)
* Solid networking fundamentals, including switching, wireless, VLANs and firewalls
* Excellent communication and documentation skills
* A full driving licence and access to a reliable vehicle for business travel
Desirable Skills:
* Hands-on experience with Microsoft Teams Phone, Operator Connect or SIP trunking
* Experience with hosted voice platforms such as Gamma (Cisco), Nebula or Voicehost
* Familiarity with UniFi networking and SonicWall firewalls
* Experience with connectivity services such as SoGEA, FTTP and leased lines
* Exposure to RMM and security tooling such as Datto RMM, Huntress or CyberSmart
* Experience using a ticketing system such as HaloPSA
* Cyber security awareness and knowledge of best practice
